Request to convert Photos into 3D Models
I get a lot of request from people who want to know if I can convert Photos of people into 3D Models and the answer is Yes and NO.
If a guy or gal want to know if I can take a picture of his wife or girlfriend and turn her into a 3D Model the answer is No, I can't do it as the technology is still new and it can open up a lot of issues. even if someone tell me that they have permission to use that photo, I have no idea if that may indeed be true, and even if I get a signed "model release form" third parties often change their minds later on.
On the other side models who are already established have ask me to turn a picture of themselves, into a 3D Model, and I have no problem with that since I am dealing with the "First Person" who is giving me permission when they make that request.
Have done extensive work for models on other sites and I have even created promotional art for them. so it has been a very hot topic for some time.
