Julie explained further. “I didn’t realise but he’s bisexual and he really fancies you – not me. I tried to argue with him but he was adamant that if I want the deal – then sex with you is the price”
I was stunned. I was a straight guy, married. I had never had gay sex before and never thought I would. But my first thought was one of excitement. I had never admitted this to my wife but I liked the idea of sex with a man but supressed it for years. Now, this guy fancied me, he wanted me. I was excited but I daren’t show to my wife that I was keen. But my wife wanted me to do it – didn’t she?
All these thoughts flooded my head. I must have been sat with my mouth opening and shutting because my wife said – “Paul, what are you thinking?”
I said honestly that I was shocked and confused and, playing for time, asked her what she thought.
“Well”, she said carefully “I don’t want to make you do something you couldn’t bring yourself to do. But this contract is important to me. It could make all the difference to my business. Are you disgusted?”
She was wanting me to do it. Not secretly - but with her approval and encouragement! But I couldn’t look too keen. “I’ve never really thought much about gay sex. It would be a big step and I am not sure I would know how to behave. It’s frightening”
“Paul”, she said, “I would be so grateful to you and I could help you”.
This was getting better and better. “How could you help?” I said.
“We can talk about it, learn what’s best – and practise”
Practise! My world was turning upside down. My wife was going to help me go bisexual without my even asking. I couldn’t believe my luck. “What did you have in mind?” I said carefully.
