So fucking angry today. Protect women in porno.

I've been watching sex online since my early teens. So have many of you. I think that the finest stuff being made today has probably never been better in terms of the performers, the scenarios and the production values.

While we view and enjoy the work of these women and others like them, it's easy to forget the reality of what goes into producing a lot of adult entertainment - not least the fact that our favourite stars are taking part in films for a few hundred dollars, knowing that their work will be out there to view for free as long as we have electricity.

From my limited knowledge of that world, I know many performers and producers - female, male and transgender - are very close friends and do all they can to form a protective safety net around one another.

Sometimes, it's not enough.
